Tom Yum

Tom yum (Thai ต้มยำ, also tom yam) is perhaps the most famous of all Thai dishes, a hot and sour soup flavored with fish sauce, lemongrass, kaffir lime, galangal and chillies. The most common variant is Tom yum kung (ต้มยำกุ้ง), where the main ingredients are shrimp and mushrooms, but many other varieties are also available.
