Time Lapse PhotographyIn time lapse photography a series of images are taken at some preset interval and then played back at a much higher rate giving the illusion that time is passing more quickly. Time lapse photography can be done with film, but with digital photography it has become much easier. Many digital cameras come with software that can control the camera, taking pictures at whatever interval the user prefers. The resulting images can be organized into a movie file. Another way a time lapse movie can be made is by taking an ordinary video camera and removing frames.
