Test Pilot

Test Pilot is a 1938 film that tells the story of a test pilot and his wife, who try unsuccessfully to keep their best friend, another test pilot, from drinking. It stars Clark Gable, Myrna Loy, Spencer Tracy and Lionel Barrymore. The film was written by Howard Hawks, Vincent Lawrence, John Lee Mahin, Frank Wead and Waldemar Young, and directed by Victor Fleming. Based on a story written by Frank Wead. The movie was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture.
