Siegfried Lenz

Siegfried Lenz (b. 1926) is a German writer. Lenz was born on 17 March 1926 in Lyck, East Prussia. He has written twelve novels, and has produced several collections of stories, essays, and plays for radio and the theatre. He was awarded the Goethe Prize in Frankfurt-am-Main on the 250th Anniversary of Goethe's birth.
