Serge Robert

Mononc' Serge (Serge Robert) is a Quebecois musician best known for his irreverent songs making fun of local celebrities and politicians. He is also quite sardonic with the Quebec federalist movement, and their counterparts in Canada. A member of the band Les Colocs in the early 1990s, he then began a solo career as Mononc' Serge. His albums include Mourir pour le Canada, 13 Tounes Trash, Mon voyage au Canada and L'Acadmie du Massacre, in which he does heavy metal covers of his own songs with the hard-rock band Anonymus.
