Rudi

The Referential Universal Digital Index (RUDI) is a fictional computer seen on The Jetsons. On The Jetsons, George Jetson's job was being the digital index operator for the computer. RUDI wasn't actually a recurring character until the second season (1984), and he wasn't given a 'face' until then. RUDI's initial (and only 1960s) appearance came in the episode "Test Pilot." That first appearance was originally drawn with the acronym in large black letters. Don Messick was the voice actor for RUDI from 1984 to 1988.
