Marlow Cook

Marlow Webster Cook (R-KY) (born July 27, 1926, Akron, Erie County, N.Y.) is a former United States Senator. He was elected to the Senate from the state of Kentucky in 1968 to fill the vacant seat left by Thruston B. Morton. Cook, a Republican, retired from the Senate in 1974. He supported Democrat John Kerry in the 2004 Presidential Election.

Career

Cook was a noted Navyman, Lawyer, Judge, State Representative, and US Senator. He is now retired.
