Marc Herold

Marc Herold is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of New Hampshire Professor Herold independently conducted research into estimating the numbers of civilians killed in Afghanistan by the United States, in the Afghan campaign of its war on terror. In his report, released in early 2002, Herold estimated the total number of civilian deaths at over 3700, at the average rate of 62 civilians per day, since the war began on October 7, 2001.
