Jevon Kearse

Jevon Kearse (born September 3, 1976 in Fort Myers, Florida) is an American football player who currently plays Defensive End for the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL. Jevon's unusual athletic prowess for a defensive end has earned him the nickname "The Freak". In college, Jevon ran the 40-yard dash in sub-4.5 seconds in full pads. Kearse was named The NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year by the Associated Press in 1999. In college, Kearse played for the Florida Gators.
