The Drygalski Glacier is the largest glacier on the Nordenskjold Coast of
Antarctica
. It is approximately 6-8 nautical miles wide and 60 miles long. The glacier flows into what used to be the
Larsen-A Ice Shelf
. This disintegrated in January of 1995. Subsequently the ice flow on the Drygalski glacier increased threefold.
