Digital Web Magazine

Digital Web Magazine (originally Digital Productions Inc.) is an online publication for Web professionals. Digital Web Magazine was first established as a personal website and later becoming an webzine. The personal site was launched in 1994 by Nick Finck and eventually evolved into a small freelance company site. In 1999, by popular demand for the exceptional content, the site was reborn as an online publication (i.e. ezine) with the tag line The web designers online magazine of choice. Over time the magazine evolved along with the industry and it began to branch out beyond the confines of just web design. Articles were published on web development (markup, web standards, style sheets, JavaScript, etc) as well as information architecture (wireframes, site maps, taxonomies, etc.). The magazine changed its tagline to The web professionals online magazine of choice in 2003 to reflect this new broader focus. The Magazine has a core staff of eleven and an editorial team that includes D. Keith Robinson, Jennie Robinson, Krista Stevens, Nick Finck, and Rudy Limeback. The staff manages over 184 contributors from all around the world and has published over 292 articles to date. The magazine continues to publish on a weekly basis and is the first all-volunteer magazine to publish more content more frequently than any other professionally published ezine for web professionals.
