Dharmsamrat Paramhans Swami Madhavananda

Dharmsamrat Paramhans Swami Madhavananda (September 11, 1923 - October 31, 2003) who was given the title Holy Guruji, was the spiritual successor of Bhagwan Sri Deep Narayan Mahaprabhuji and Guru of Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda. He was born in the village of Nipal, Pali district, Rajasthan, India. He got his Swami initiation in 1942. The place of his Mahasamadhi is the Om Vishwa Deep Gurukul ashram in Jadan, Pali district, Rajasthan.

Teaching and work

Most of his teaching and work is founded on Satsangs (lectures of truth and wisdom) and Bhajans (chanted spiritual poems). He recorded them while living for many years beside his master Sri Mahaprabuji and did a lot of his own compositions. While travelling through Rajasthan, Gujarat and other parts of India he spread the teaching of his spiritual master and built several ashrams. He also involved himself in social work and was committed to the preservation of the ethical values of the Vedic civilization and culture and of Sat Sanatana Dharma.
