Daza

The Daza are a group of nomadic people living in and near the southern Sahara desert, in Niger and Chad. They consider themselves a warrior people, and are almost entirely Islamic in beliefs. They speak the Dazaga language. The increasing desertification of Africa has resulted in a reduction of their traditionally nomadic, herding lifestyle.
