Bucket (Unit)

A bucket (bkt.) was an Imperial unit of liquid volume, equivalent to four gallons or 18.18436litres, i.e. ca. 0.018m. It is thus equivalent in size to the dry unit kenning. The unit was one of the less-common ones and has been outlawed for use in trade for a long time. See also: Conversion of units, U.S. customary units, bucket
