flows from the
Niagara Escarpment
to join the
Beaver River
which empties into
Georgian Bay
. The Boyne flows over the escarpment at Hogg's Falls, named after William Hogg.

Simcoe County, Ontario
is a tributary of the
Nottawasaga River
. There is a
fish ladder
on the river to allow
rainbow trout
to reach
spawning
grounds up river. The town of
Alliston, Ontario
is located on the river.
The
Boyne River
in the
Muskoka District
near
Dwight, Ontario
empties into the
Lake of Bays
.
