Boomhauer

Jeff Boomhauer is a neighbor of Hank Hill from the television cartoon sitcom King of the Hill. Boomhauer is known for liking fast cars and loose women. He has been a friend of Hank, Dale Gribble, and Bill Dauterive since childhood. He tends to mumble his speech very rapidly with a voice which can be difficult to comprehend to non-Texans. He sings very well, though-- possibly a reference to country western singer Mel Tillis, who has had a life-long stuttering problem, yet sings unimpaired. Boomhauer's voice is provided by King of the Hill creator Mike Judge. Supposedly his mushmouthed drawl was inspired by a message once left on Judge's answering machine.
