Hans Von BlowHans Guido Freiherr von Blow (January 8, 1830–February 12, 1894) was a 19th Century pianist, conductor and composer. He was a student of both Friedrich Wieck (the father of Clara Schumann) and, later, Franz Liszt. Hans von Blow married Liszt's daughter, Cosima, who later divorced von Blow and married Richard Wagner. Blow, however, remained a disciple of Wagner's, conducting the premieres of several Wagner operas. From 1887 to 1893 von Blow was the first chief conducter of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
