Dalasi

The Dalasi is the currency of The Gambia. It is subdivided into 100 Bututs. The Dalasi was adopted in 1971. Coins currently produced are 25 and 50 bututs and 1 dalasi.
Banknotes currently producd are 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 dalasi. As of January 2, 2005, there were 29.4500 dalasi to the United States dollar.
