Benishangul-gumaz

Benishangul-Gumuz is one of the nine ethnic divisions (kililoch) of Ethiopia. Its capital is Asosa. Covering 50,248 km2 in the northwest of the country, its population (as of 1999) is 523,000. Before an administrative rearrangement, it was known as Region 6.
