Alfonso De Borbn Dampierre

Alfonso of Spain the elder son of the Infante Jaime, eldest surviving son of King Alfonso XIII of Spain. His father Infante Jaime began pursuing the claim on the French Throne decades after he had renounced all dynastic rights a number of times starting in 1933 for himself and future descendants to the Spanish throne because of a hearing and speaking disability. Alfonso contracted a morganatic marriage with General Franco's granddaughter. Ignoring the fact that during the family's period in exile in France his late grandfather King Alfonso XIII did not declare or show any interest in the reviving a claim on the French Throne. In French terms he was heir to the throne of France because King Alphonse II, son of King Jacques-Henri VI, son of King Alphonse I of France. Alphonse II's son Louis- Alfonso, continues his father and grandfathers weak claim as the current Pretender "Duke of Anjou", alleged head of the House of Bourbon, thus to small number of French monarchists, His Most Christian Majesty Louis XX by the Grace of God King of France.
